Our egg laying flock consists of 17 Buff Orphingtons, 5 Bard Rocks and 5 Buckeyes. They are "free Range" in that they have the run of the place. In a good week they'll produce 8 dozen eggs, which we sell here on the farm. Demand from last year tells us we need more, so we'll be expanding our flock this season. I think we'll buy in our chicks this year, but our goal is to let them raise thier own.
